Stitch-Free Implant is an advanced technological surgical technique in which there is almost no gum incision or none at all during the placement of the implant into the jawbone. This method is medically referred to as Flapless Implant or flapless surgery.
In traditional implant surgery, a wide “flap” is opened in the gum to access the jawbone and sutures are placed at the end of the procedure. In the stitch-free method, the gum in the area where the implant will be placed is opened circularly only as much as the diameter of the implant with the help of a special punch.

How is a Stitch-Free Implant Performed?
The stitch-free implant procedure is generally performed together with Guided Implant Surgery (Guided Implant), which requires high precision:
- Digital Preparation: Bone structure, nerves, and vessels are examined in detail with 3D tomography and intraoral scans taken from the patient.
- Virtual Planning: The most ideal point, angle, and depth where the implant will be placed in the jawbone are determined digitally with millimetric precision.
- Application: With the help of the surgical guide (guide) prepared according to this plan, only a small hole is opened in the gum just enough for the implant to pass through.

- Jawbone Sufficiency: Sufficient height and width of healthy jawbone sufficiency is required. This technique cannot be applied in cases where bone grafting (addition) is needed.
- Gum / Oral Tissue Condition: The area must be free of serious infection and requires thick and healthy gum / oral tissue condition.
